Strawberry doughnut tastes super artificial now. Before it tasted good, now it just tastes artificial, bleh. They are saved by their delicious chocolate covered doughnut holes! I don't know any other place that offers them AND they have maple bacon bars! Delish! Still gets 4 stars since it's open 24/7.

No wonder they have a nearly perfect rating. Line was out the door but they got everyone through it quick. Love how they offer Vegan choices for us wanna be vegans. The Palm Springs sandwich is to die for! The lemon pepper seasoning adds an amazing touch. Friendly staff and huge selection. This is our new goto!

Good glazed cake donuts, right level of denseness and fluffiness along with a good balance of sweet. My favorite was the blueberry, then the pumpkin, red velvet, and then the strawberry.

Went at around 12:30AM. It wasn't too crowded. I tried the glazed blueberry, glazed strawberry & cream cheese glazed red velvet. The strawberry was my fav though. They were $1 each but you have to buy at least $5 worth of stuff if you're using a credit card. I'll probably be back for more :)

It is family owned, i'm sure. They are oh so nice and always hook you up with an extra donut of your choice when you buy a dozen. I usually take a trip to The Donuttery really late at night. It is the young teenager in me that wants to go out to enjoy donuts at......... freaken 3 in the morning lol. I like all of their donuts, even though I pick at each flavor. Yes, I waste money on sweets that I do not finish, but hey whatever! This place is worth the try. THUMBS UP!

I have had maple bacon donuts in many places from Southern California to Chicago, and this one is the best one by far. For best tastes, take it home and bake it for 5 minutes in 325 degrees. It's best when fresh off the oven. Off the oven, the donut's maple is melting onto the plate. The donut has the perfect amount of crispy, warm bacon -- not too underwhelming and not too overwhelming. Perfect, perfect, perfect. In my most recent visit, I gave the blueberry a try. Not that great at all. You'll find better blueberry donuts down in Anaheim with M&M Donuts. Nevertheless, three words: maple bacon bar. The hype is real. Put in the oven, and you can thank me later.

All I can say is The Donuttery is a true gem of Huntington Beach that should never succumb to corporate or turn into a chain. I recently played the new guy card at my work and now I'm awesome. Whew. I was a little disappointed with my visit today. The service was mehh. My friend had to repeat herself 3 times for the guy to get it. He didnt seem like he was all there. The sizes of the donuts were not consistant. I only come here for their bacon maple bar. Thats the only reason im giving them 3 stars. Oh and you guys should see how he organized the donuts in the box. Its like he just threw it in there without even trying to make it look presentable....

Just the fact this place is 24 hours gets an extra star. Good doughnuts overall. I would highly recommend the blueberry with vanilla frosting. Mmm. Service is okay. Some visits are better than others. Don't bother with the drinks though.

I like how they have a more unique selection of donuts. Red velvet and Blueberry Glazed Donuts? I've never seen such thing! And the Maple Bacon Bar has huge pieces of bacon. However, must you charge so much for donuts? Maybe it's just me who feels this way but we have several donuts shops in my area and I can easily get a dozen for less than $10. I got like 5 donuts for a price much more than I even expected. The donuts itself were good but not a I-must-come-back kind of good. Maybe my expectations were too high. I don't know.

One of the best donut places I have been too. I tried M&M donuts, I like Krispy Kreme donuts, I tried the vodoo donuts in portland, but I am afriad none of those places can hold a candle to donuttree. Yes I know its Donuttery...but me and my friends have a inside joke and call this place Donutree...please join us...lol..

My favorite has been the blueberry, red velvet, and chocolate donuts. I usually buy a dozen just for myself. Service is great! I know it can get crowded at times with people picking out their donuts. However, every time I've been here, everyone has been very friendly. Love how they'll offer you the donuts that are just out of the oven instead of giving you one that has been sitting there. Love the options and many items that they have. However, distance has always been an issue since I rarely drive that way for anything besides for the donuts. If my husband allowed me to eat these every day, I would.

I have never seen so many donuts!! There are so many options here it was hard to choose. I got 2 dozen for my office and chose a simple raised coconut for myself. It was the best donut I have ever had. Highly recommend the Donuttery!

Went here after wanting to for a very long time. Got here around 7AM, small line but it went by very very quickly -fast service -huge donut selection -delicious variety of glazed donuts -I got the blueberry and red velvet they were yummy! -friendly service -plenty of indoor seating -they also have cronuts, sandwiches, bagels Would highly recommend going here VERY DELICIOUS DONUTS :]

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE BURRITOS, NOT THE DONUTS!! I got a breakfast burrito here and I didn't like their (probably) bottled salsa inside the burrito. It was not fresh and it made the burrito very soggy and not the best. I've had better breakfast burritos, definitely. I'm not a coffee lover but my boyfriend does say they have awesome coffee and their goldie lox was pretty good and fresh tasting but I wouldn't really come here again, at least not for the food. HOWEVER, even at 7AM, the line gets ridiculous, so I know the donuttery must be doing something right. I am certain their other options are delicious, I just would not get their breakfast burritos.

Why is this one of the best doughnut shops in the area??/ I'll tell you why!! - Excellent selection of donuts. - The line moves quickly - Yes, they are rude, but it makes up in deliciously fresh donuts. - They have great croissants I need to try everything here at least once, but that would take about a year!!! The have like a million reviews already so who cares right? Yeah I do. The donuts are amazing here!! Delicious sugary heaven. The maple bacon bar is pretty damn good, get ready to be blown away. They have a great blueberry and strawberry glazed donut. It's glazed to perfection and as you bite into it is moist and fluffy. It's a Saturday night and the place is packed. They are open 24 hours a day and the store has free wi-fi, hence why I am here besides the amazing donuts, of course. People do grab and go, but why not hang out at your local donut shop? There's a party of 12 playing Uno as I sit here and study. Can you say community center yo?

I always go here when I have a donut craving! All the donuts are wonderful. Keep in mind this place is 24/7 so the donuts are hit or miss sometimes depending on if they're fresh of not. The maple bacon bars are great! I love apple fritters and the ones here are sometimes amazing and sometimes meh. Good prices and they're fast.

Something about their donuts keeps me coming back! I've been coming to the Donuttery since I was a kid, and it's always been good. Funny thing is it only gets better! Nothing beats their jelly or cream filled donuts! The bacon maple bars are also fantastic! And I love the fact that they offer different kinds of dozen boxes. When my staff is good, I always get them the lg dozen box, which they love.

I'd give the pb&j donut a 10 if I could. Pb on top is super creamy and not too thickly layered. The nuts on top give it an extra crunch. Tigertail and Oreo were nothing I'd rave over. The banana and choc in glazed Cronut was messy but good. Glad I stopped by.

Get thee to the Donuttery... The Donuttery is where flavors are born and raised, only to be brutally devoured in a machine of enamel, then drowned in a flash flood of lactose. Oh the humanity these are good donuts. But there is a problem when you have a habit of proclaiming selfishness. Buying 12 flavors and consuming them before that first threshold of staleness arrives. Or you can just buy one and then come back tomorrow and get another one. But the greed and the challenge is but a gift...and a curse. So what are the flavors? Love love love this place. Anytime im in the mood for sweet, I can always count on this donut place to be open. All the donuts are taste, you can't go wrong with any flavor, but my favorite is the Strawberry donuts it so soft and full of flavor eaten the same day or 3 days later. Just put it in the microwave for couple second. Blueberry is just add good as M&M minus the wait.

Delicious moist donuts that are not greasy! This place has a huge selection of unique donuts (different kinds of strawberry, different kinds of blueberry, different kinds of red velvet, peanut butter, strawberry nutella, carrot cake, ...) cronuts, breakfast sandwiches, etc. Not huge on donuts or sweets but if I am in the area and in the mood for donuts, then I would come by!

This place has a great selection of yummy, inexpensive donuts, which I've always enjoyed, but what I love most are their deli sandwiches. Their ingredients have always been fresh and delicious! I usually get mine on a lightly toasted bagel and add a bag of baked, sea salted potato chips. Yummy!

I love going to this place, the staff is always nice! The pretty asian girl always gives the best customer service, and makes the experience that much better. The donuts are delicious, although it does get packed around 9-10 PM. I highly recommend coming by!
